CaviTAU^® reveals RANTES/CCL5 sources as focal sites for inflammation

CaviTAU^® can be used to display areas of the jawbone with reduced mineral density, which can contribute to chronic failures in the immune system due to overexpression of the RANTES/CCL5 pro-inflammatory chemokine. These areas cannot generally be identified on conventional dental x-rays.
