CaviTAU®
Imaging ultrasound measurement of jawbone density.
A central component in the development of the CaviTAU® device was the goal of locating possible cavities in the jawbone as precisely as possible in order to relieve patients from possible complications after or before upcoming operations.
CaviTAU® is a product of Digital Dental & Healthcare Technology GmbH&Co. KG, which has made it its business to support the doctor in his daily diagnostics with all its diagnostic tools and interesting technical achievements and thus ultimately help the patient to improve his quality of life.
At every stage of development, our aim was to make dental diagnosis as safe, clean and gentle as possible for both the dentist and the patient, but above all as efficient and convenient as possible.

A novel field in medicine and dentistry:
Interdisciplinary Maxillo-Mandibular Osteoimmunology.
In four volumes, the authors document fatty degenerative osteolyses of the jawbone on a case-by-case basis-emphasizing their striking overexpression of the inflammatory messenger RANTES/CCL5.
They discuss potentially triggered 39 chronic diseases based on scientific publications in GoogleScholar.
The discussion shows that an expansion of Volume I and Volume II was necessary due to increasing importance and understanding of a “silent inflammation” for the immune system.
The research of disturbing “signaling pathways” from the jaw area by incomplete wound healing after tooth removal, by inflammatory stimuli of implants and root fillings and their systemic interconnections, makes these four reference books a supporting pillar of medical progress in an immunologically and integratively oriented ZahnMedizin.
The belief in the unlimited informative value of X-ray diagnostics is questioned and supplemented by the use of trans-alveolar ultrasound sonography (TAU with CaviTAU®).
